Biblical Foundations:
Initiation (Matthew 4:19-20)
"And he said to them, 'Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men'; Immediately they left their nets and followed him."
- Definition: Initiation is the divine call to enter into fellowship with Christ and His mission.
- Purpose: Every believer is first called to relationship with Jesus and to the work of sharing
His love with others.
Vocation (Ephesians 4:11-12)
"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."
- Definition: Vocation is the specific role, gift, or service to which God uniquely appoints you.
- Purpose: God calls each person to a distinct area of ministry, using their gifts to edify the church and reach the world.
